This is a painting I did for my wife, we are expecting our daughter any day now. I did this a few months back. Gouache and color pencils.

I found this while browsing portraits and I love it, so beautiful and intimate. your daughter must be much older now than she was here hehe.

Beautiful emphasis put on your wife, I also love the tones in the skin and how she seems to be anchored by the patch of darkness.
